Journey to the Land of Heaven
“The people who come to perform Hajj or Umrah are the guests of Allah because they visit His House on His Call; therefore, Allah grants them what they ask for” by Nabi Muhammad SAW (PBUH).
To be one of out of the millions chosen to heed the calling of Allah is indeed one of the most precious and memorable life experiences. The impact can be so profound, bringing one closer to Allah, and for some it could be the beginning of a journey towards self-discovery.
In conjunction with the coming month of the Holy Ramadhan, for the first time ever, six local Malaysian artists are joining together to showcase their recent works in this group exhibition entitled “Journey to the Land of Heaven”. These six artists have recently been blessed with the opportunity to visit the Holy Land. The journey was so inspiring that for artists, what better way is there to convey their priceless experiences, feelings, and emotional turmoil than on canvas? Witness how this remarkable journey has strongly impacted the lives of each of these artists through their mesmerizing artworks.
Despite the differences seen and felt by these artists, the aim and purpose of the journey is the same for all, which is to glorify the greatness of Allah by performing the Umrah successfully.
